The product
What exactly is Market Ready?
A seasonal collection-readiness audit for independent fashion brands. You share what a buyer would see — lookbook, line sheet, price list — and sit for a short interview about your positioning and plans. FINAL reads the collection the way a buyer would, before buyers do, and delivers a scored, evidenced dossier: what’s working, what will cost you orders, and the exact sequence of corrections to make before outreach.
What do I actually receive?
A typeset dossier, delivered to your workspace and printable as a document. It contains an overall verdict and score; readings across seven axes — collection coherence, assortment, pricing architecture, brand positioning, sales materials, wholesale readiness, and a market action plan; every finding with its evidence, severity, and a specific corrective action; a prioritized fix list; and a five-step immediate action plan. Every claim cites what it’s based on — your prices, your pages, your own words. the sample dossier is exactly what yours will look like.
Who reviews my collection?
Market Ready by FINAL combines the most advanced AI available — the same class of system we build with for luxury brands through FINAL Studio — and every dossier is then reviewed, corrected where needed, and signed off by FINAL before it reaches you.
Who is this for — and what categories do you cover?
Brands preparing to sell wholesale — emerging labels approaching their first market, and established ones entering or re-entering wholesale. Womenswear, menswear, accessories, jewelry, and bags are all read; the axes are the same ones buyers apply across categories. No geography limits — the audit reads collections from anywhere, in materials prepared in English.
Who is this NOT for?
Said plainly: if you have no materials at all — no line sheet, no prices, nothing a buyer could hold — the audit has nothing to read, and you’d be paying for a document that mostly says “make the materials.” Come back when there’s a collection on paper, even a rough one. It’s also not built for pure direct-to-consumer brands with no wholesale intent: much of what it grades — margins, minimums, delivery windows, line-sheet convention — is the grammar of wholesale. And it is not legal, financial, or production advice; it’s a market reading.
How is this different from hiring a consultant or showroom?
A consultant bills by the hour and takes weeks. A showroom has an incentive to sign you. This is a fixed-price, independent reading with no stake in the answer — closer to a building inspection than a sales pitch. It won’t replace a season of advisory work, and doesn’t pretend to; it tells you, before you spend on outreach or a showroom, whether the collection is ready to survive either.
Is this AI?
Yes — combined with experienced fashion insiders. Every page of your materials is read by the most advanced AI model available, the same technology FINAL builds with for luxury brands. Scores and verdicts are computed by fixed rules, not vibes. And every dossier is reviewed by FINAL — a human who knows the market.
Can I see an example before paying?
Yes — the full the sample dossier is public, and so is the dossier of a collection that cleared. Between them you see exactly the depth and tone you’ll receive — same axes, same evidence standard, same document — at both ends of the verdict.
The process
How does it work, and how long does the intake take?
The intake is a conversation, not a form — direct questions about your brand, season, positioning, and structure, then your materials. Most brands finish in about fifteen minutes. Everything autosaves; you can leave and resume any time.
What materials do I need, and in what formats?
Whatever a buyer would see. Lookbook (PDF or images, up to 25 MB), line sheet and price list (PDF, XLSX, or CSV, up to 15 MB each), brand deck (PDF, up to 25 MB), plus supporting images and sales history if you have them — up to 30 files in all. More evidence means a sharper read, but nothing is strictly required: the audit works from what you give it and states plainly what it couldn’t assess.
What if my collection isn't finished, or I don't have a lookbook yet?
You can still run the audit — the interview asks what stage you’re at, and the reading adjusts. Missing materials aren’t penalized by guesswork: the dossier states what was and wasn’t reviewed, and its confidence per axis. Many brands audit precisely becausethings aren’t finished — to learn what to finish first.
How fast do I get the dossier?
Within 48 hours of submission. Every dossier is reviewed by FINAL before release — it’s a reading, not an instant printout.
Who sees my materials? Are they confidential?
Your materials are used only to prepare your audit. They are never published, never shared with other customers, and never used to train AI models. Analysis runs through a single AI provider under a commercial agreement that excludes training on your data. Files live in private storage tied to your workspace, and we’ll delete your materials on request — write to hello@finalnyc.com.
Price and payment
How much does it cost?
$595 per collection, flat. That includes the full dossier, FINAL’s review, and one second fitting — a verification re-read after you’ve made corrections. No hourly meters, no tiers.
When do I pay?
You complete the intake first — payment is at submission, by card via Stripe. Your dossier is released once payment is confirmed.
What if I disagree with the audit, or want a refund?
The audit is a completed professional reading — state-of-the-art fashion AI and a human review — so we don’t offer refunds for disagreement; a dossier you dislike may be the one that saved you a season. What we do guarantee is accuracy: if the dossier contains a factual error about your materials — a price misread, a style miscounted — write to hello@finalnyc.com and we’ll correct it and reissue the dossier at no charge.
My collection changed after the audit — can I get re-read?
Yes — that’s the second fitting, and it’s included. Within 45 days of delivery, once you’ve made your corrections, we re-read the same collection one more time: same axes, same evidence standard, with your first dossier in hand, so the new reading speaks to what moved. One second fitting per audit; a new season or a substantially new collection is a new audit.
Do you offer discounts — multiple collections, seasons, agencies?
If you’re an agency or a brand group with several collections to read in one season, write to hello@finalnyc.com.
After the audit
Do you help fix what the audit finds?
No — we don’t fix what we grade. The moment the auditor can sell you the repair, you should stop trusting the diagnosis; independence is the product you’re paying for. The dossier is written so you can act on it without us: every finding carries a specific corrective action, sequenced by priority. Take it to your own consultant, your production partner, or your studio — and then use the second fitting to verify the work.
Will you introduce me to buyers or showrooms?
No. The audit is independent by design — it buys no consideration, no introduction, and no place in any showroom, including FINAL’s. That’s precisely why a strong dossier is worth showing: it was written by a house with no stake in flattering you.
What if I score badly?
Then you will know in private — instead of from buyer silence after you’d spent on samples, showrooms, and outreach. A low score comes with the same thing a high one does: the exact, ordered list of what to correct, and a second fitting to verify the corrections when you’ve made them. Many brands get the most value from precisely this outcome.
Can you just tell me if my pricing or line sheet is okay — quick question?
That’s exactly what the audit answers, and it deserves better than a guess in a chat window. A real answer about pricing needs your whole ladder, your tier, your references — that’s the reading. The honest version of a “quick look” is the dossier.
